WHO IS THE MOODY ARTIST?
I’m the Moody Artist, and my art is inspired by the energy and emotions that surround me. Growing up, I spent countless hours in my Dad’s jazz room, where the rhythms and melodies of his music filled the space.
That room, with its low light and soulful sound, became my sanctuary - my place to reflect, get lost in my feelings, and channel them into my work. Every painting I create reflects the moods I’m experiencing in that moment, whether it's the tension in a stormy landscape or the calm of a quiet scene.
Just like a jazz tune that ebbs and flows, my art is an expression of the highs and lows of life. Each piece tells a story, inviting you to connect with your own emotions and find something familiar in the chaos, the quiet, and everything in between.

In this quirky exhibition, "Moody and the Blue Crew", Laura invites you to explore the ever-shifting moods of the sea, sky, and everything in between.
Using predominantly shades of blue to capture the raw, unpredictable beauty of nature, Laura's landscapes are as moody as they are mesmerising.

Expect playful splashes, stormy vibes, and a hint of unpredictability as each piece tells a story of the coast and countryside — sometimes calm, sometimes wild, but always full of character.
